"This Dark Navy Rum is a fine blend of The Portsmouth Distillery’s single rums: ‘1968’ unaged, ‘1812’ three year old and ‘1747’ five year old. We have added a little of the syrup we use to make the rums giving a rich dark colour. On the nose, subtle sweet treacle notes, with an abundance of tropical fruits, burnt banana and rich raisins. On the palate it is rich and decadent, with all three expressions of our award winning rums bursting forward, singing in concert to give an explosion of flavour on the tongue."
