"Puerto de Indias is a historic Spanish distillery (since 1880) in Carmona, Seville, famous for creating the first strawberry gin in 2013, born from a happy accident when brothers trying to macerate strawberries for local patisseries found the Seville heat turned the mixture pink, leading to an innovative, natural pink gin that sparked a global trend, using unique Roman spring water and traditional copper stills for its distinctive flavor."
