The barrels used are well balanced with grain and wood. Barrels that really shine and bring some great flavors to the nose and palate. Resilient Bourbon enjoy finding these barrels, bottling them up and bringing them forward to their friends and community of whisky enthusiasts. On the nose, spiced pear with vanilla-chocolate wafer, cinnamon sticks and subtle oak spice. The palate is ripe pear with peach candy, chocolate-toffee sauce with oak spice percolating underneath. The finish is round and lovely.
