Distillery Information
Later, in 1826, a sugar mill was set up on the estate, before an agricultural rum distillery was established in the early 20th century. The distillery seems to have ceased operating for a few years, before being bought out in 1955 by Paul Rameaux, who refurbished it and relaunched rum production in 1958.
