Distillery Information

"Mannochmore distillery, built in 1971 by John Haig & Co (DCL) in Speyside, was a modern "workhorse" distillery meant for blending (Haig, Dimple), known for its floral, sweet spirit and unique "Black Whisky" called Loch Dhu, but it faced closures (1985-89, 95-97) before becoming a year-round producer, sharing staff with Glenlossie, and now offers distinct single malts, including light citrus notes, with Diageo ownership."
