Nose: Sweet with toffee, butterscotch and nutmeg. Vanilla, plums and figs.
Palate: Rich and smooth with dark toffee, honeycomb, hazelnut, orange and apricot. Subtle vegetal undertones.
Finish: Cinnamon, toasted oak spices and chocolate orange.
Distillery Information
"In 1887, Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. built the Old Taylor Distillery in Millville, Kentucky, inspired by European architecture. The distillery was designed to be a tourist attraction, with a castle, springhouse, and sunken garden. It was a success, and Taylor was awarded the "Degree of Master of Hospitality" in 1917."
