The Last Drop Release #33 Blended Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: A rich fruitiness of apricots, pears and apples is enhanced with the sweetness of honey, and soft notes of dates, prunes and vanilla, from the ex-bourbon casks in which it was finished. A gentle floral fragrance and hints of toast and honey.
Palate: Rounded and smooth, there is a complexity of dried apricots and figs, with almond essence. The florality on the nose develops into a subtle sweetness of spring flowers, candy and vanilla ice cream.
Finish: A delightful and complex finish of fruit, vanilla and liquorice, lingering notes of coffee and chocolate stay on the palate for an age.
