Tomintoul Small Batch - Amarone Wine Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Juicy sultanas and fruit crumble, cherry studded flapjacks, a touch of cocoa, and cakey spice.

Palate: Sweet layers of strawberries and raspberries, dusted with icing sugar. Creamy custard, gingersnaps, and aromatic oak.

Finish: Spiced honey, chocolate raisins, granola, and a touch of peppery warmth.

Distillery Information

Tomintoul (pronounced ‘tom-in-TOWEL’) was built in 1964, under the ownership of Hay & Macleod and W & S Strong, in the village of the same name, which itself is one of Scotland’s highest, at an altitude of 345m (1132 feet).
