Tomintoul Small Batch - Tempranillo Wine Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet, jammy berries, Crunchie bars, toffee pudding, vanilla, poached stone fruits, a touch of floral honey.
Palate: The berries continue, with summer fruits and dark fruits combining, alongside waves of vanilla custard and buttery pastry, oak char, and biscuity malt.
Finish: Notes of dark chocolate, studded with dried raspberries linger along with coffee, candied nuts, and gently warming spice.

Tomintoul (pronounced ‘tom-in-TOWEL’) was built in 1964, under the ownership of Hay & Macleod and W & S Strong, in the village of the same name, which itself is one of Scotland’s highest, at an altitude of 345m (1132 feet).
