Nose: Fresh and subtle, with an abundance of fruity aromas of banana, pear and mirabelle plum, balanced by nuances of honey, beeswax and vanilla. With time, notes of sugar cane syrup and roasted pineapple emerge.
Palate: Lively and generous, with hints of candied citrus fruits (lemon, grapefruit) and stone fruits such as white peach, accompanied by soft spices such as cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg.
Finish: Long and silky, with a powdery texture of ginger and semolina, followed by lingering flavours of Williams pear, Golden Delicious apple, and spicy tobacco notes.

"Velier is an Italian company, more precisely Genoa, the city from which it inherited its talent as a great merchant. A certain Casimir Chaix founded the company in 1947, then developed it until 1953, when it began to assert itself as an importer of wines, spirits and delicatessen products."
