Nose: Refined and elegant, with notes of beeswax, candied fruits such as pear and mirabelle, and camphor. Floral scents of geranium, hyacinth and iris add a delicate touch.
Palate: Powerful and complex, with aromas of licorice, dark chocolate and smoky nuances reminiscent of petroleum and smoked meat, balanced by a fruity sweetness of banana and pineapple.
Finish: Long and intense, with flavors of sugar cane, warm brown sugar, and candied fruits such as kiwi, quince and apricot.

"Velier is an Italian company, more precisely Genoa, the city from which it inherited its talent as a great merchant. A certain Casimir Chaix founded the company in 1947, then developed it until 1953, when it began to assert itself as an importer of wines, spirits and delicatessen products."
