Producer Information
Domaine Rapet Père et Fils is a Burgundy wine estate situated in the village of Pernand-Vergelesses. The family-owned domaine can trace its foundations back to 1765, and is today managed by Vincent Rapet. Since taking over the reins in the 1990s, Vincent Rapet has overseen the construction of a new winery in 2003, and has expanded the domaine's vineyard holdings. The domaine now spans 18 hectares (45 acres) of land that encompasses three grand cru vineyard sites in Corton, and ten premier cru vineyard plots across the villages of Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses and Savigny-les-Beaune. Domaine Rapet produces three grand cru wines from plots in Corton, Corton Pougets and Corton-Charlemagne. The Corton-Charlemagne grand cru is the only white wine in this trio and is made from Chardonnay.
