      Producer Information

Spring Mountain Vineyard is a historic Napa Valley wine producer located on the eastern slopes of Spring Mountain. The estate received international recognition when its Chardonnay placed fourth among French and American white wines at the historic Judgment of Paris in 1976. Today, Spring Mountain Vineyard is best known for its red wines produced exclusively from estate-grown fruit. In particular, the flagship wine of the portfolio is Elivette, a Bordeaux-style blend. The property is expansive, covering nearly 25 percent of the total planted land of the Spring Mountain District. The estate originally had four separate but adjoining vineyards – the highest, La Perla, was established in 1870 at an elevation of 1600ft (490m). Below this lies the Beringer brothers' original vineyard planted in 1882, Chateau Chevalier planted in 1891, and Miravalle, the lowest vineyard at 400ft (120m), planted in 1885.
