      Domaine Drouhin-Laroze is a wine producer based in the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin boasting a number of vineyard holdings across Burgundy's wider Côte de Nuits subregion. The estate primarily produces red wines from Burgundian flagship grape variety Pinot Noir. A range of quality levels (from grand cru to "village" are represented. The domaine has its origins in vineyard plots in Gevrey acquired back in 1850 by viticulturist Jean-Baptiste Laroze. The domaine remained in the Laroze family for subsequent generations and expanded with the marriage of Suzanne Laroze (Jean-Baptiste's granddaughter) to Alexandre Drouhin in 1919. On their marriage, Drouhin added his family holdings in Chambolle-Musigny to those of Laroze's and the estate changed name to Domaine Drouhin-Laroze. Today the family owns 11.5 hectares (28.5 acres) of vines spread throughout Burgundy and is run by the fifth and sixth generation of the family.
