      Domaine Rossignol-Trapet is wine producer based in Gevrey-Chambertin, 13km (eight miles) south of Dijon, in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits subregion. The wider Rossignol-Trapet estate includes vineyards located in both the Côte de Nuits and the more southerly Côte de Beaune, and produces a range of wines covering grand and premier cru sites, predominantly in the Gevrey and Beaune appellations. The domaine was founded in 1961 by the marriage of Jacques Rossignol and Mado Trapet. Both the Rossignol and Trapet families have long and notable histories in the regions of Volnay and Gevrey-Chambertin, respectively. Their sons Nicolas and David Rossignol took over the management of the estate in 1990, and subsequently introduced biodynamic agricultural practices to the Domaine.
