      Producer Information

Domaine Marc Colin et Fils is wine estate based in Saint-Aubin, in the Côte de Beaune subregion of a Burgundy. The domaine is particularly known for its local Chardonnay wines – a hallmark of the region, although Pinot Noir is also grown – spanning both Saint-Aubin and neighboring appellations. It was created by Marc Colin and his wife Michèle in the 1970s from plots inherited from the Colin and Ponavoy families. At the start, their holdings totalled six hectares (15 acres) in Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin. Today the estate, run by three of the Colin's children, extends to 19 hectares (47 acres) over multiple appellations, including parcels in Puligny-Montrachet and Santenay. It had been larger but, in 2005, eldest son Pierre-Yves took his share of the vineyards to work separately, establishing the highly regarded Pierre-Yves Colin Morey domaine in Chassagne-Montrachet.
