Domaine de la Chapelle is the new, distinct estate identity for the famous Hermitage red wine and its white counterpart Le Chevalier de Sterimberg. Both were formerly labelled as part of the Domaine Paul Jaboulet Aîné portfolio. There are 26 hectares (64 acres) of vineyard; the Jaboulet family have owned vines on the Hermitage slopes since 1919. The conversion to organic farming began soon after Frey took the reins, with certification achieved in 2016. The vines have been biodynamically farmed since 2018.
