Keermont is composed of two old farms, Fleurfontein and Keerweder III, which were purchased by the Wraith family in 2003. In 2005 they started a major effort to plant vineyards with the first vintage release in 2007. The vineyards are planted in blocks throughout the farm which are surrounded by natural vegetation.
