        Producer Information

CrossBarn is a California wine producer located in Sebastopol, in Sonoma County. It was established in 2000 by Paul Hobbs who initially made a single lot of Cabernet Sauvignon under the label. Today, CrossBarn produces a wide range of varieties including Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc from acclaimed North Coast appellations such as Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley and Anderson Valley. The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon includes a small portion of Merlot and spends 18 months aging in barrel prior to release. Fruit is sourced from sustainably farmed vineyards and wines are crafted to offer quality for value as compared to Paul Hobbs' premier winery. Grapes are hand-harvested in the vineyard to preserve their integrity and freshness. In the winery, white wines are pressed whole-cluster and juice is mainly fermented in tank with native and selected yeasts.
