        Producer Information

Nestled in the charming village of Lignorelles, just northwest of Chablis, lies the prestigious Domaine Courtault Michelet. Perched atop a sun-kissed plateau, the south- and southwest-facing vineyards offer an exceptional terroir which results in grapes that are often the first to ripen in the region. The domaine, formed in 2019 through the union of Domaine Jean Claude Courtault and Domaine Stéphanie et Vincent Michelet, boasts an impressive 28 hectares of vineyards spanning the villages of Beine, Lignorelles, Villy, and Maligny. Their Petit Chablis is a particular strength, with well positioned sites near the winery. Fermentation and ageing is done in stainless steel and the wines are aged on their fine lees until the following spring for maximum structure and depth.
