Livio Felluga is an Italian estate nestled in Friuli-Venezia Giulia at the northern tip of the the Adriatic Sea. The estate takes its name from its founder, who came to the region in the 1930s. Today, it is famous for its blended white wines made from the region's most planted white varieties, including Friulano and Sauvignon Blanc. Livio Felluga's family has a winemaking history that goes back six generations to Isola d'Istria in Slovenia. He purchased his first few hectares of vineyard in Rosazzo in the 1950s and immediately set to work restoring and replanting the old vineyards. Livio Felluga subsequently acquired a wine cellar in Brazzano to allow for the expansion of the estate's wine production. Today the estate stretches over more than 187 hectares (462 acres) of vines in Collio Goriziano and Colli Orientali del Friuli. It also encompasses the cellars and vineyards of the historic Abbazia di Rosazzo (Abbey of Rosazzo), where it creates its distinctive white wine blend of Friulano, Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon Blanc, Malvasia and Ribolla Gialla – the Abbazia di Rosazzo.
