Glenlossie whiskies are crafted with water from the Bardon Burn, using three pairs of pear-shaped stills, with 15,600 and 13,500 liters respectively. The maltings are sourced from Elgin, primarily Burghead Maltings. Glenlossie single malts have a signature lightly peated quality. This Signatory Glenlossie vintage was distilled in 1992 and aged in hogshead barrels and bottled in 2011.

Nose: Grassy notes, tobacco and spice on the nose.
Palate: The palate is bold and spicy with notes of black pepper, citrus, sherry spice, and nutty notes.
Finish: The finish has a burst of citrus.
Distillery Information
John Duff had previously owned the Fife Arms Inn at Lhanbryde and managed Glendronach distillery. He formed John Duff and Co with H Mackay, Charles Shirres, Alexander Grigor Allan and George Thomson and the company founded the Glenlossie whisky distillery in 1876. The Glenlossie distillery lies south of Elgin, in the village of Thomshill. Twenty years later, H Mackay became the manager following John Duff’s departure to Longmorn which he established with Charles Shirres and George Thomson.
