Hook Or Crook Cellars is owned and operated by Thomas Allen Wine Estates, a quiet winery in Lodi, California, that has people talking. And we like it that way. We’re not looking for the spotlight. We’re too busy doing what others said couldn’t be done. We’ve been in the wine business for the past two decades, although our training dates back to the 1970s as kids in New Jersey, learning from multiple generations on both sides of our families. Some were hobby wine makers. Others ran a local deli. All were hard working Italians who worked hard for every dollar earned. Decades later, my wife Tiana and I began our own venture into the world of wine, buying beautiful land in Lodi, and moving our family of five to the California Central Valley. Today, in addition to wine production of Hook Or Crook Cellars, Thomas Allen Wine Estates produces more than a million cases annually for other well-known, national brands. Pretty sure, we’re making all the grandparents proud. And that’s a humbling feeling.
