Kilchoman - Impex Cask Evolution - 02/2018 - 10 Year - Single Cask - Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: The blanco shares many traits with aged expressions of agave, showing deep flavors of buttery roasted nuts, smoky beachwood, dill and cocoa. These are balanced by fresh flavors of fresh-cut grass, eucalyptus, pineapple, mango and earth, all tied together with a peppery spice and a medium viscosity.
Finish: A long robust finish.

The Kilchoman distillery (pronounced Kil-ho-man) is a distillery that produces single malt Scotch whisky on Islay, an island of the Inner Hebrides.The distillery is situated on the western side of Islay, near the small settlement of Kilchoman. The location made it the most westerly distillery in Scotland, until the Abhainn Dearg Distillery started distilling on the Isle of Lewis.
