This indie Speysider was distilled at Miltonduff back in April 1994, and filled into a single refill hogshead. It stayed in the single cask for a quarter of a century, until Douglas Laing bottled the whisky in August 2019. The hogshead yielded 285 bottles at 48% ABV, released for the ever-awesome Xtra Old Particular series.

Nose: Cooked pear, apple and rhubarb crumble, with honeyed cereal and damp oak.

Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in taste.

Finish: Clean,crisp and smooth.
