For a while, it was one of the biggest selling single malts in the world being sold around the age of 5 years. This cask has clearly slipped the net and been allowed to mature for 25 years. Distilled in July 1st 1990. Bottled in February 2016. One of 204 bottles.

The Exclusive Malts Glen Grant 25 Year Old Cask Strength Scotch Whisky Tasting Note

Nose: Nice spice and oak on the nose. Bourbon barrel aging is evident from the onset here. Loads of toffee, vanilla, brown sugar, dance along apples, and spice. All together pleasant and warming.

Palate: On the palate, robust and pleasant. On the taste, rich vanilla, apples, malt, anise, and brown sugar.

Finish: The finish is long and pleasant.
